Amy is in the house this week!
She was pushing hard to make some comfort food recipes we already had in the app, which I relented to the Dirty Rice. It is amazing!
But we have two new ones that are really incredible. We loved everything we made this week! (Yep, sometimes we don’t, lol!)
Sesame Ginger Chicken Salad… A light & crisp chicken salad with an amazing citrus dressing. Topped with almond slivers and wonton strips, a squeeze of an orange slice and a dash of flake salt brings all the flavors to life!
Bison & Shrimp Dirty Rice… This is definitely one of our TOP “go-to” comfort meals… AND, it’s really simple. Just throw some extra spices in your instant rice while cooking. Meanwhile, cook everything else in one skillet, add your rice, and done! A simple, yet very flavorful dish, you will sure to enjoy.
We paired this with roasted green beans!
Greek-Inspired Steak & Veggies… A simple marinade adds a nice lemony rosemary taste to the flank steak on top a dish of sauteed peppers, red onion, tomatoes and spices. Served on a bed of baby spinach
A simple dish that you can make your own by adding the veggies you like! Zucchini or Squash would be great additions.
