Sept 8: Quinoa Salmon Burger, Sweet Potato Turkey Hash, Chicken Stew

Do you love flexibility? When you’re cooking, you ALWAYS have the power to change the recipe!

This week, add your favorite protein, and definitely, add your favorite veggies! Corn is sweet, but Paul doesn’t really like corn, so we used carrots! Another sweet veggie. The store was out of Bison, so we used Ground Turkey.

Our goal is to EMPOWER you in the kitchen. Have fun!

Quinoa Salmon Burger & Salad (GF)... Highly recommend this recipe! The combination of quinoa, sauteed kale & onions with the wild salmon is amazing! We paired it with a Kale/Spinach & Apple salad with pecans & dried cranberries, but of course, make it your own! Use Peaches or Pears, maybe almonds or walnuts! Have fun!

Sweet Potato & Turkey Hash (GF)… We love ONE SKILLET recipes, and we love meat & veggie combinations like this. We usually use ground Bison. That’s our fav… what’s yours? We added sweet potato, red pepper, black beans, and our own taco seasoning with a side of green beans and zucchini! Straight up Protein and Veggies!

Green Chili Chicken Stew (GF)… We were getting some cooler temps, so I wanted to jumpstart Fall with a stew… and why not load it with some veggies! Again, what’s your fav? Along with green chilis and chicken, we added carrots, instead of corn, and some broccoli and wild rice! A great hearty soup! Enjoy!
