The theme this week: What Amy wants…which is typically straight protein and veggies… lol. You can never go wrong there!
I had the reigns for the pass two weeks, so Amy jumped in this week. She wanted some favs, like the turkey patties and chili. Chili! It’s that time of year!
And then I was able to add a new chicken dish, which added some sweet potatoes in the mix!
Chili Honey Chicken & Sweet Potatoes (GF)… A simple and tasty ONE PAN dish you roast in the oven while you chop and steam your broccoli. Chicken has a subtle chili and honey taste which you could ramp up with more cayenne, because it’s served with a cool cilantro yogurt sauce. Enjoy!
Teriyaki Turkey & Zucchini Patty & Veggies (GF)… This is one of our ALL TIME favs. Prepare the turkey patties with shredded zucchini and cook in a basic homemade teriyaki sauce . Pair it with a big serving of stir fry veggies!
Scratch Bison Chili (GF)… An amazing clean dish with all whole ingredients. No high sodium packets, just tomatoes, peppers, beans, bison, and some spices. Typically, we make this with a cup of red wine which adds a unique flavor, but we substituted with beef broth.
